Puppy Love

I was a transferee in our school when I was in Grade 5. At that time, uso pa yung F4 Meteor Garden. Talagang nakiuso din yung mga classmates ko at pati nadin siguro ako. Kasi ganito yun! Kumpleto yung 4 na characters ng F4, may Shan Cai at ang mga friends nila. Ganun kami nuong grade 5. Yung friend ko, gusto nya na sya si Shan Cai kasi may gusto sya sa kaklase ko na parang si Jerry Yan na leader ng groupo. But without knowing, itong leader ng groupo na papangalanan kong Nelgy ay may gusto pala sa akin. Medyo hindi ko napansin. So, feeling ko nuon, yung role ko ay yung friend ni Shan Cai pero gusto ko rin na maging Shan Cai. Char lang! Yung friend ko, talagang close kami at that time. Palagi kaming nagkukwentuhan, pinapapunta nya ako sa bahay nila, kumakain, etc. Yung groupo ni Nelgy ay talagang nakaaligid sa amin. Panay ang asar sa amin, panay ang tingin at papansin. Relate na relate kami sa bawat eksena ng Meteor Garden kasi halos pareho lang ang eksena nito sa school namin. Pag may school activities, ang awkward lang kasi ako yung nagiging ka partner ni Nelgy.
On the first day of school, si Nelgy ang isa sa mga iilan kong napansin sa classroom. I admit, gwapo sya at that time. Tapos, matalino pala sya according to my classmates. Actually, my crush ako sa kanya nuon kaso nga lang, crush din sya ng close friend ko na si Shan Cai. Kaya medyo, talagang umiiwas ako. At saka, I'm really not good in intertaining boys pag nalaman ko na may gusto sila sa akin. Nakalimutan kuna kung nasabi kuba sa friend ko na may crush ako kay Nelgy. Pero kahit hindi ko sabihin, halata naman siguro sa mga kilos at salita ko. At first, hindi ko talaga napansin na may gusto sya sa akin kasi nga ang nasa isip ko, yung friend ko ang gusto nya. His friends were teasing them kasi nga talagang nag eefort yung friend ko na pansinin nya. Medyo turpi kasi si Nelgy. Until time passed by, imbis yung friend ko ang tinatawag na Shan Cai, ako na yung tinatawag nila. So, dun nalaman ko na may gusto nga sya sa akin. Pero para sa akin kasi, naging katuwaan lang nila iyon.
May mga moments na hindi ko nakalimutan yung tulong nya, yung pag effort nya na mapansin ko sya. Kaso nga lang at that time, kalog yung utak ko at pusong bato pa.
May time na dahil sa kakulitan ko, naipit yung mga kamay at paa ko sa bookshelf ng classroom namin at nadamay ang mga siblings ko. Lunch time nang mangyari iyon. So, sigaw kami ng sigaw, walang makatulong sa amin. Buti nalang medyo napaaga sya sa school, nakita nya kaming nag iyakan na. Tinulungan nya kami at humingi ng tulong. Oh, diba?! May superhero kami...I was really thankful at that time.
May moment din na ganito! Sumali ako ng beauty contest. Noong awarding moment na, may mga boys palang magbibigay ng flowers sa amin. Kasama sya sa magbibigay nito. Nag announce na yung host at nagbigay ng go signal na paunahan kung sino sa panalong contestants ang bibigyan nila. Nakita ko sya at yung isang lalaking katabi nya na nag-uusap at parang may pinagtatalunan. Hanggang sa pag go signal na, yung lalaking kausap ni Nelgy ang nakapagbigay sa akin ng flowers. Talagang nakita ko silang dalawa na nag-unahang makaakyat sa stage. Sad to say, naunahan si Nelgy. Infairness, gwapo din yung nagbigay sa akin. Hahaha. A day after, my friends and his friends told me na gustong ibigay ni Nelgy ang flowers na hawak nya at that night. So, parang napaisip rin ako na special nga ako sa kanya.
Another moment ay noong may play na kailangang e portray as Maria and Jesus. Christmas month noong time na yun. This was the most awkward between us. Ako ang naging Maria at sya si Jesus. Napapagalitan ako palagi ng teacher na kumuha sa amin to portray the role kasi nga, may ilangan sa aming dalawa ni Nelgy. Secret nalang ang ibang details nito. Hahaha...
Noong grade 6 mas naging showy na sya. Yung tipong gusto nya akong ihatid sa bahay ng family ko. Pero sa isip ko, ang bata-bata pa namin sa ganitong bagay. Kaya panay ang iwas ko, galit-galitan at hindi namamansin. Hanggang sa panay na ang kulit ng ka groupo nyang F4 sa akin. Pero may nagawa akong hinding hindi ko makakalimutan at sigurado rin ako na hindi rin nya makakalimutan. May gusto syang ibigay na necklace sa akin pero hindi ko tinanggap. It was really a bad idea. Parang at that time, ang insensitive ko sa feelings nya para sa akin. Diba?!
Medyo mahaba pa ito...Putulin ko nalang ang kwento hanggang dito. :)

KABABATA CRUSH

Tall, dark and handsome. That's him! My kababata crush. I remember everytime he smiles, I felt like I'm melting. Char! One of my most memorable moments with him was when I participated in a beauty contest. I was in kinder 1 that time. Part of the contest ay ang ilibot ang mga kandidata sa labas ng paaralan habang nakasakay ng pampasaherong bisikleta. Itong si kababata crush na papangalanan ko ng "Natsky" ay sumama. At that time, may kanya-kanya kaming partner ng mga ibang kandidata. Kasi nga friends kami, so parang it's his way of supporting me noong sumama sya. So, andon lang sya sa likod ng bisikleta naglalakad habang kami ay nakasakay. Minsan, napapakapit sya sa sinasakyan namin sa pagod ng paglalakad. Eh kasi naman, sumamasama pa! Haha. Habang inililibot kami ng 'di kalayuan sa school, itong si Natsky panay ang pangungulit at kausap sa akin. Eh ako naman, panay rin ang lingon ko sa kanya habang kinakausap ko sya at minsan naman, talagang kinakalabit nya ako. Nakakatawa talaga yun pero kinikilig ako. Napagsabihan nga ako ng isang nanay sa daan at ang sabi ay, "ano ba yan, paano namin makikita yung kandidata nyo eh panay ang tingin sa likod". Napatahimik at napahiya ako ng slight. Kaya ayun, pinagsabihan ko si Natsky na huwag na mangulit sa akin. Maya-maya ay umalis na sya. Siguro nagtampo sya sa sinabi ko. Another memorable moment ko with Natsky ay ng dinalaw nya ako sa bahay kasama yung mga kaibigan nya. I don't know their purpose. Maybe may dinalaw sila na malapit sa bahay namin at pagkatapos ay dumiretso nalang sa amin. Hehe. Syempre, nagkwentuhan kami medyo hindi katagalan nga lang kasi daw may iba silang lalakarin. Marami akong kilig moments na kasama sya dahil classmates kami mula kinder hanggang grade 4. Haha. Bata palang, ay may kilig-kilig na akong nalalaman. Naputol ang communication namin nuong grade 5 kasi lumipat kami ng family ko malayo sa lugar na iyon. So, hindi na kami magkaklase. Pero pabiro akong nagsabi sa kanilang mga ka klase ko na aalis na ako, na hindi na ako mag-aaral next year sa paaralang ito dahil lilipat na kami ng tirahan. Akala talaga nila, joke lang yun. So, no formal of saying goodbye to them ang nangyari. I was a bit sad and a bit nagsisi na hindi nakapagpaalam sa kanila. Matapos kaming makapaglipat sa bagong tirahan namin at bagong school na papasukan, I tried to get in touch with them pero talagang nahirapan ako kung papaano kasi I don't have their numbers at saka, bawal rin akong magka cellphone nuon. I think 1-3 years after ko sila nahanap through "Friendster". Yan pa kasi yung usong social media nuon. At saka hindi ako mahilig makiuso. Eh, yan yung usong-uso nuon. Hehe. Pero, inisip ko nalang na I'll use "Friendster" to get in touch with them. Kaya ayon, nahanap ko sya pati na yung other classmates and friends ko. We started communicating again. At first, I had hesitations to communicate with him. Syempre, maraming possible nangyari sa panahong iyon. Hiningi ko yung telephone number nya at ibinigay rin naman nya. I was the one who called him first. Finally, nagkausap kami at napakinggan ko ulit yung boses nya. Haha. Madalas sa pagtawag ko sa kanilang bahay, iba yung nakakasagot. I found it pangit pakinggan na ako yung palaging tumatawag sa kanilang bahay. Kaya, 'di kalaunan ay tinigil ko narin ang pag tawag-tawag ko sa kanya. Thankfully, may cellphone narin ako that time at sa cellphone na kami nag communicate. Hanggang sa umabot na kami sa college at nalaman ko na we've attended the same University but of different campus. Who would have thought na habang tumatagal parang papalapit ng papalapit yung pagkikita naming muli. Feeling ko lang yun ha?! I don't know sa side nya. So ayun nga, patuloy yung pag tetext namin but feeling ko wala talaga syang gusto sa akin? Hanggang friendship lang. Everytime may event yung P.E, tinitext ko sya kasi yun lang yung possible na magkakita kami. Kasi iba yung schedules namin and I don't want to sacrifice my classes para lang sa ganitong bagay. Kasi, ang nasa isip ko, if this continues, may possibility na ma apektuhan ang studies ko which I don't want to happen.

Sa university na pinasukan namin, may time kasi sa P.E subject na magkakasama ang lahat ng campus nitong university. There were a couple of times na gusto nyang makipagkita pero ako itong ayaw. At that time, nahihiya pa ako kasi ang payat ko at medyo hindi pa ako maganda. Yung pictures kasi nya sa friendster, lalo pa syang gumwapo. Eh ako?! Hindi kasi ako mahilig umarti sa pisikal kung kaanyuan. Hehe. I just want to be simple yung kung ano ang ibinigay ng diyos sa pisikal kong anyo, walang dapat baguhin. Kaya ayon, siguro nadala na sya sa kakasabi ko na hindi ako pwede ngayon, sa ganitong petsa, atbp. Pero dumating rin ang time na nakita ko syang muli. Yung isa sa big events ng P.E class involving all campuses, part sila ng mga participants. Sila yung nag lead ng exercise. I was texting him kung saang pwesto sila nuon. Hinanap ko talaga sya because I was thinking na baka ito na ang possibling huling pagkikita namin kasi last class na ito sa P.E. Nahirapan kaming dalawa makahanap ng time sa isa't-isa kasi may kanya-kanya pa kaming activities na kailangan tapusin. So, para kaming nagpipingpong. May times na nandito sya sa lugar na ito, tas ako naman nasa kabilang side (vice-versa). My friends were with me and they teased me about him. Kinukwento ko kasi na I had a crush on him. My friends told me that maybe this is the right time to continue our love story in which maybe I'm just the one whose imagining that there's a love story between us. Haha. Tas ayun nga nakahanap ako ng timing. Nakita ko siya kasama yung mga classmates nya na nag lead ng exercise. At first, 'di ko mawari na sya yun kasi biruin nyo ang tagal na kaya namin hindi nagkita. Yung last kita namin ay nuon grade 4 pa tas nakita ko sya 2nd year college na. That's a total of 8 years?! How did I able to identify him? His silver necklace. He still wore that silver necklace on his neck. Also, his physical appearance: tall, dark, and handsome. And...his divided lips and chin. He was still the Napsky I've met before. The matured version nga lang. I confirmed it to him by asking na you were in front of this, and that; you still wore your necklace, etc. He said it was him. I was able to see him but he wasn't able to see me. Nangulit sya sa akin na gusto nya akong makita and I told him na nahihiya pa akong makipagkita sa kanya. Not now. Right after that, our communication became weaker. And....That's the last time I saw him.

Ngayon, may anak na sya. At ako, nanatiling single.

NSO Birth Certificate

If you want to process NSO certificates, such as Birth, Marriage and Death, you may get it from NSO office located at the ground floor of Gaisano South Building, Colon Street. You may also process it to a Travel Agency but be aware of the service charge. Few of the travel agencies I visited in Lapu-Lapu City were the Wow Travel located at ground floor of Gaisano Island Mall, and the travel agencies in Marina Mall. It costs 500 pesos for NSO Birth. I haven't ask for the Marriage and Death. You'll get it for about 3-6 days after you gave your requirements. It's quite long to wait if you're in a hurry and expensive but the good thing is it is hassle-free. By the way, Cebu Normal University (CNU), no longer cater the processing of NSO Birth. I processed my NSO Birth in CNU before.

If you're out of budget and want the quickest way to get it, you go to the nearest NSO office in your City or Province. Most of the people when asked about the perfect time to visit the NSO office in Cebu City, they would say that better process it early morning like on or before 6 am to be sure that you'll not fall in a long line. But in my case, I went there at around 11:30 am because I visited first those mentioned travel agencies. For me, the line was just normal. Only few people were there to process. The first thing you must do is to get a form of Birth/ Marriage/ Death. Fill-out the form you want to process. After that, get a priority number at window 1 or window 2. Don't forget to bring your ID/ ID's. You will be needing it when getting the priority number and when claiming it. Someone will announce to which teller you will pay the 140 pesos for the NSO Birth. It is much affordable compared to the 500 pesos. Right? Hehe.. After paying the said amount which corresponds to the NSO certificate you want to process, you will claim it to the assigned schedules depending on the time you were able to process it. In my case, I was able to claim it an hour after. Very quick!

I processed my NSO Birth last December 3, 2014.

How to get there:

From the airport, you can ride a taxi going there for a hassle-free. But if you want a bit adventure, you may ride a jeepney going to tamiya terminal. From the terminal, ride a motorcyle going to Gaisano Grand Mall. If there are motorcyles who will go until agus road, much better since you don't need to ride another motorcyle. If there's none, then ride another motorcyle going to agus road all the way to AGUS HOTEL. Once you're already there in the agus road, there's a big sign "AGUS HOTEL" from the left side. To make sure you'll not get lost, you may ask someone to give the exact direction. Be sure to ask 2 to 3 persons for you not to be fooled.

Details:

It was February 25, 2014 when we (my family) decided to celebrate my brothers' 24th birthday at Agus Hotel. We had an easy access upon going there since we have our own car. The moment we arrived, someone went to us to ask if we will be having a day use. And we said yes, and he asked us about the payment. So, we paid immediately. He said to us, he will just give the receipt later. Few minutes later, I realized that it was a tricky strategy. What if, they will say that they haven't received any payment yet well in fact we did already? So, I looked for the guy whom I gave the money and asked for the receipt. I waited for about 5-10 minutes I think because he has to go inside the hotel to get it. After that minutes, I got the receipt.

The place was nice. You're like having a day-use in a resort. The pool was big enough for us because when we went there, it's like we rent the entire pool privately. It was only our family, a teen barkadas composed of 5 persons, and a family who is preparing an afternoon birthday party on the other side of the pool which was not started until we got home by around 4:30pm. My family enjoyed a lot. What if many will be interested and want to come here? Do they have limitations to the number of occupancy?

Needs Improvement:
- For me one thing that is really important when it comes to this type of business is the Shower Room / Toilet. Yes, they have a toilet near the hotel but it seemed not usuable because the door knob has rust and cannot be locked. Too dark when you closed the door because there's no fluorescent lamp or even light bulb to give some light. Though they have an area near the pool which has shower room for females and males but not usuable because it wasn't maintained. They don't let the guests used it anymore. Maybe they have lacked of budget for the maintenance.

- Cottages: A bit rustic. There were parts of the cottages that were damaged.

- Restaurant/ Small Store: Before, inside the cave-like structure foods were present there to cater the needs of the guests. They could buy foods there before. I haven't asked the staff there why they stop it. What if guests would want to buy something? Do they have to go outside just to buy their needs?

- Some parts of the pool is unclean. There's some bubbles and fallen dry leaves. I think, during the time when we had swimming, the water was unclean. I wondered how many times per week do they change the water on the pool?

- They must have an area or a booth so that guests could determine easily where could they give the payment for the day-use.
